How are you doing? Thanks for taking the time to answer these!

I'm doing well, thanks! Thank you for taking the time to interview us.

Sociopathic Constructs drops May 10, Can you tell us about your personal writing process?

We all contribute to the writing in the band. We write together at practice, and we also write solo at home and bring riffs/ lyrics to the band. Sometimes we start with lyrics, sometimes a drum beat, sometimes a guitar riff. This way we get a good variation of songs.

What were some of your goals while writing this record?

The same goal as usual, write the best damn album we can! We write the kind of music we would want to listen to, something brutal and technical but with a focus on strong song writing and composition.

How does this record compare to your other two Full Length Albums?

There are elements from both albums for sure, but it has evolved into something altogether new. We feel we have stepped it up to a new level wth this one.

Who were some of your influences when you first started playing music?

As we first started as a band we were heavily influenced by bands like Cryptopsy, Dying Fetus, Sepultura, Suffocation, and Morbid Angel. When I first started singing death metal vocals I was influenced by Frank Mullen, Chris Barnes, Matti Way.

Abnormality was featured in the Rock band 2, which is where I first heard of you. Do you think that helped push your name out there?

We definitely gained a lot of exposure through being one of the first death metal bands on Rock Band (or Guitar Hero). It was really early in the band's history so we weren't totally prepared for the love AND the hate we received, in particular from gamers who didn't understand what metal was all about.

Abnormality will be playing Chicago Domination Fest this year, how does it feel to be a part of such a brutal line up?

We are really excited to be on such a great festival among so many killer bands!

Will there be more tours coming up this year?

We are working on more tours, but nothing I can talk about yet.

Any other future plans?

We are going to promote this new album, play out as much as we can!
