Whitechapel have always been a band that I have been curious about. But the chuggy guitars and blasts have never been a big appeal. None of which are a bad thing but just not my thing. But with their upcoming album, The Valley, I do believe my opinion has drastically changed. Their 7th full length album, where they decided to really mix things up. Adding a bit more melody at times and even clean vocals. Yes clean vocals, alongside some of the best lows in the business thanks to vocalist Phil Bozeman.
