The production isn’t bad for being a self released record. It gets a little repetitive for me. But they still have some groove that I cant deny. I do believe a shining element for ‘Inherence’, would be they sound like they can get a crowd moving. They have some fast circle pit riffs. Then they counter at with a typical hardcore chord. I feel like the mix could be a tad better. I feel like some of the drums got washed out by the guitars. Maybe they were just mixed a little too quiet. You can kind of hear them, but they could be a wee bit louder.

The song structures are pretty sweet. They kick your face in with super fast riffs. Then they kick you down more with a easy breakdown. All the songs flow pretty easily. They are all super simple and at times repetitive. But there is a groove that I just cant help but bob my head to.

It sounds to me like a theme amongst this record, is violence. Wether it be inflicting it, or over coming it. I feel like it is probably overcoming problems, but using violence as a means to overcome.

Now, while I did say at times they get repetitive. There is some replay value here. If you’re in the mood for some good hardcore/metal core. These guys would fit right into your playlist. As for lyrical content, it goes along with the over all theme. If it is using violence to overcome problems, it sounds a little more positive than I thought it would. Which is also something I enjoy. This is their debut record, so there is nothing to compare it to.

Overall, it’s a decent record. There are a couple things I personally would like to see improved upon (the mixes, branch out with song writing). But this is not a bad debut. They could easily fit right in at a Bury Your Dead or Hatebreed show easily. Just because I feel this way about the record, doesn’t mean I would like to see them live. I feel I would have a ton of fun at their shows.

As I said, if you’re a fan of some simple metalcore/hardcore, this record is for you.
