The production on this record is absolutely fantastic. It truly captures the slamming elements this band has been known for. It’s absolutely crushing. I think the shining element here is how you can kind of here a tiny side step. But they kept its still so brutal, that you can barely notice. I also could be completely mistaken. The mix is perfect for ‘Slamchosis’. You can hear every drum fill. You can hear every guitar note, even with the super crunchy tuning. The vocals are just fantastic.

The song structures are typical in this genre. Super heavy and fast. Then a slamming breakdown with a gnarly bass drop. I personally love those. Each song flowed very well. They were all their own entity. The musical narrative is pretty simple, especially if you are familiar with the genre. I’m pretty positive most, if not all, lyrics had to do with some form of horror/torture.

There is so much replay value in this record. The slams hit way to hard to never hear again. My favorite parts were the slams with bass drops. It adds a certain heavy feel to each song. My least favorite part was when the record ended. But that’s easily solved by hitting the repeat option. I feel compared to their last effort ( Ten Acts of Sickening Perversity ) they have really stepped up their game. ‘Slamchosis’ is definitely a step above their previous efforts. If they continue like this, I feel that no band will be able to reach their level.

Overall, this is definitely their best record to date. The slams are heavier than ever. The production got much better. This is just over all a better record. I will most definitely be picking up a hard copy asap.
