Listening to this release, it’s a little different from what I normally listen to. While I do love some good riffs, and killer drum parts. There is something different about this for me. The production for this self released EP, is surprisingly good. Every instrument is very clear. Nothing drowns out any other aspect of the band. I think something that stands out from them, is their sound. They do have the sound in the instruments that could appeal to some thrash fans. That sound could also cater to fans who like radio metal.
The song structures are super simple. Nothing to flashy. I feel like the songs flowed pretty decently. From what I could tell, there wasn’t a consistent lyrical theme. I spotted some hints at love, and also death. But that’s okay, not every record needs a constant theme.
I’m not sure if I would have this on replay. I love the instruments, and the vocalists cleans. But the almost black metal-esque screams do not attract my attention. My favorite parts though are when they go into almost a death metal style fast pace beat. I can feel the energy off that.
There are a couple things I’d love to hear on their next release. I’d love to hear some more double bass. Even if its just one song that’s nothing but cannibal corpse pace drums. Something to make you feel like whipping your hair in a windmill. I’d also love to hear the female vocalist project her vocals a little more.
Overall, I’m not to turned away. Even in some of my favorite bands I find things I don’t like. That’s totally okay, were all only human. This being their first release, they have some potential, I would hate to see it go to waste. I can see them perfecting their sound and opening up for bands like Butcher Babies. I wish nothing but the best for them
